About Connie
Hi, I'm Connie. I am a trained counsellor and psychotherapist. I have a wealth of lived and professional experience
along with my education and training. As a practicing psychotherapist and counsellor i've worked in both
private practice and for various organisations and settings and with a diverse range of individuals.
My approach to therapy is that of facilitator or fellow traveller assisting my clients to find the right path according to their own
personal values, beliefs and priorities by helping them to create a strong sense of self through self awareness.
Together we embark on a journey of discovery breaking down old patterns and building new more appropriate ways
of moving through their lives and the world. Our process together will involve the creation of a deep connection that fosters
trust, safety and compassion between counsellor and client. The practice will take a positive approach to healing and
emotional wellbeing, using the belief that disturbance is an opportunity for growth, and a chance to move towards a more authentic life.
The work we do will help to heal old wounds, break old patterns, foster self awareness, discover and
integrate hidden parts of self, and empower the individual to realise their full potential.
My qualifications Include:
Graduate Certificate in Grief and Bereavement Counselling
Advanced Diploma in Transpersonal Counselling
Certified EMDR Practitioner
Trauma Professional Training Certification
Autisim Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist Certification
Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts
Extensive list of Professional Development Training Including:
